5 ways to wear a sweater, for the 5 days of the week

This year you will finally be able to wear what your grandmother has been knitting you for Christmas for years!:) Check out these tips and some of my favorite looks!

1. The V-Neck Sweater

Oversized V-neck sweaters are a great option to be paired with dresses or maxi skirts. Add a skinny belt around your waist and roll up your sweater sleeves to your forearm or elbow.

2. The Cardigan

Pair a thick cardigan with a graphic or white T-shirt, skinny jeans, motorcycle boots, and a  beanie. If you prefer the preppier look, match a lightweight pastel cardigan with a plain white shirt and classic accessories.

3. The Cable Knit Sweater

Cable knit sweaters are great to layer over collared shirts. This type of sweater creates an interesting textured look when paired with a fitted, collared, or button-up blouse. For an artistic contrast, allow the first layer of this look to be longer than the sweater. To make it even more unique, you can also add a statement necklace, or a bow tie.

4. The Vintage Sweater

Vintage printed sweaters are a big trend on the streets right now. Designers are also throwing out printed, tribal, and patterned motifs on their oversized crew neck sweaters. This style is great with a pair of solid leggings or colored skinny jeans. Add simple accessories.

5. The Sweater Dress

A sweater dress looks best with tights and knee- or thigh-high boots. If the dress is fitted, for a little extra chic, add a leather vest on top or a belt. If it's a bit more loose, wear denim shirt underneath, and pair it with leggings. If you are brave enough, you can even chose a poncho!

In case this was still not enough, here are some pics to help you out when you're out of inspiration!
